Happy 4th Birthday Mckenna!!

On the 3rd Mckenna turned 4 years old!  She was so very excited for her birthday.  She kept asking me how many days until her birthday.  The Sunday before her birthday she received a card from her primary teacher.  She was so happy with that card.  The day before her birthday she received a card from granny in the mail.  She was so proud of her two birthday cards.
On her birthday she kept asking me when her party was.  She was singing happy birthday to herself all day long.  For lunch we met her daddy out at work and had lunch with him.  Finally it was time for her grandparents to come over for a party.
Everything seemed to be Barbie themed this year!  She got 2 barbies, barbie jeep, and a huge barbie house!  She also got a doctors set and some little dolls and ponies.  She was one happy girl and has played non-stop with her Barbie stuff.
For her cake she wanted Frozen (yes we have made 3 frozen cakes this year!).  She chose pink cake and pink frosting.  It turned out cute and she was very happy.
I love this sweet girl so very much.  She is a great big sister to Callie.  Callie tries to do everything she does.  She is smart, mischievous, sassy, and oh so lovable.  I am so happy that she is my little girl.  I love you Mckenna!!

5th Birthday in Heaven.....

On the 22nd of November we celebrated Collin's 5th birthday in Heaven.  I am always pretty much a mess on this day, but I tried to preoccupy myself so I wasn't a complete mess.  When Ty got home from work we took our balloons down to Meadow to let them go at our new house.  Callie was asleep in the car so that is why she is not in the pic with the other kids.  It was a super windy day.  We let the balloons go and mine floated slowly and low and the balloon got popped on a fence.  I was disappointed and it kind of ruined the day for me.  Not the way I had planned things to go.

I can't believe that after 5 years this day is still so incredibly hard.  I miss my baby so so much.  I would give anything in the world to have him back with me or to even be able to change the day that he was born and make it more special.  Obviously I still have huge issues with how things were handled that day and the lack of memorabilia I received.  I am pretty bitter about it as a matter of fact.  I have to really focus and try not to think about it often or it drives me crazy.

I am so blessed to have been given such a special little boy.  I know that the Lord needed him for something big and he must be an amazing spirit.  I miss him every single day.  This year I was a little jealous that he got to have grandma Frampton with him this year.  But I am so glad that he has my sweet grandma up there with him.  I love you sweet baby boy!!!!

Getting our roof on!

This past week they have been busy on our house.  We now have a roof complete with tar paper!  The plumbing is all finished.  This week the heating and air conditioning man should come, electrician will come, and we have ordered our windows, doors, and shingles.  Things are moving right along and it is so exciting!!

It's looking like a House!!

Last Friday when the framers did the floor they had also rough framed the basement.  These are the pictures of that.

On Thursday the framers were back and started framing the outside walls.  By the end of Friday they had framed the entire house inside and out (for the most part).  It's so exciting.  It's really beginning to look like a house and starting to feel real.

And this morning here is Tyson and Connor shoveling the snow out of our house!
