Happy Birthday to Me!!

I really hate my birthday!  Last year when I turned 30 it gave me a complex!  I want to stay 29 forever, but unfortunately that isn't going to happen.  But all the wonderful family around me made it a great day.
I was able to have lunch with my grandma, mom, sister, and the kids.  It was alot of fun.  I received lots of phone calls, text, cards, and Happy Birthday wishes!  Thanks to everyone for those!
Ty and the kids made the evening great.  Ty BBQ a yummy New York Steak dinner!  Then he made me a yummy cake.  They also gave me some gifts.  I got some perfume and a mirror with a beautiful saying about moms on it.  Then Ty, being the sneaky devil he is, got me the perfect gift, the one I have wanted ever since we lost our little angel.  This picture:

Of course I cried like a baby!  It was just what I wanted.
So all in all I have a wonderful birthday.  I am so lucky to be surrounded by people who love and care for me so much.  Thanks to the kids and Ty for making my evening for complete!  Love you!!!

School Fun

On Wednesday Macie had hat day at school.  She was insistent on wearing her cowgirl hat.  She did look pretty cute in it!  Connor joined in by putting a paper plate on his head and saying it was his hat!
On Thursday Connor had crazy hair day at school.  He wanted it spiky all over like a rock star!
The last picture is Macie reading to Mckenna while I was making dinner last night.  Mckenna loves Macie to read to her!

Because they are so cute

There isn't really a reason for this post...its just because my  kids are so dang cute!  I love Mckenna's sweet little personality.  But dang it...every time she is smiling and I pull out the camera she stops!  I have to trick her to get a picture of her smiling.  Today Macie was making her smile and I managed to snap a few!  I love the pic of the two girls together.  And the pic of my two boys is so sweet!  They went shooting together and Connor has to do everything daddy does.  I love my life :)

Another One.....

So Macie lost another tooth....this time a top one!  She lost it on Friday night.  The tooth right next to it is pretty loose and so we may have a pretty toothless girl here pretty soon.  She was super excited for the tooth fairy to come.  Isn't that a cute grin!!!

Mckenna Hip Update

So finally after an xray, an ultrasound, and another ultrasound at Utah Valley the verdict is in.....Her hip is fine for now.  If the doc still hears a click at 6 to 9 months then he wants to have another xray done on it.  So for now we will say a prayer that things will stay as well as they are now!

I'll Make My Own Craft....

Connor had to miss school today because of a nasty cough.  He hates missing school. He came and told me he needed paper and glue.  He said he was going to make him own craft!  So I set him all up and found a few more things he could glue on the paper and this is what he made!
As I took his picture he said I sure wish Miss Monica could see this!  So Miss Monica this is for you :)

Yesterday Chase, Shelby, and I finally got all 3 of our babies together.  But we didn't manage to get a picture of all 3 together!  But we will!!!
This is Branson Chase.  He was born March 3rd, nearly 4 weeks early!  He is so sweet and looks just like his brothers.  He is so teeny!  I can't believe that only 13 or so weeks ago Mckenna was so small too.  They just grow to fast.  But we are so thankful Branson is here healthy and safe.  Congrats Chase and Miakay!!

Rub a Dub....Two Sisters in the Tub

This afternoon Mckenna has been a little cranky.  I knew she was tired because she had only had catnaps all day long.  I asked Macie if she wanted to have a bath with Mckenna and she said yes.  So the two girls had a bath together.  Mckenna loves her bath....and having one in a "pool" tonight was great!  She loved kicking her legs and splashing.  They had lots of fun.

Cooking with Connor

Connor is my little chef.  He definitely takes after his dad!  Whenever Ty or I am cooking or baking he always wants to come in and help out with whatever we are doing. 
This morning we asked him what he wanted for dinner.  He chose hamburgers.  When it was time to make them he kept telling us that he was going to do it.  I didn't think he would touch the bloody, gross looking raw hamburger.....but by dang he did!  He helped Ty make the patties and he didn't even bat an eye.  Then he "helped" grill them.  He was pretty proud of the dinner he made us!
