Callie turns 2!!

On Thursday the 16th Callie turned 2.  I can't believe she has already been here for 2 years!  Although she is still teeny tiny she is growing and changing everyday.  We were telling her that she was going to be 2 for a couple of days.  On her birthday if you asked how old she was she would say 3!

She opened up her presents and loved them all!  Her dad made her an adorable Frozen cake.  She loved it and the purple frosting.  We sang happy birthday to her and she blew out the candles on the cake.  It was a fun day.

She talks and talks all day long, except only about 75% is understandable!  She has a cute little language of her own.  She loves to do everything that Mckenna is doing. She loves dress ups, Barbies, and babies.  She is a girlie girl and loves dresses and getting her hair done.  She is so much fun and keeps me laughing.  I love her and am so happy she is my daughter!

Flag Football!!!

This year Connor played flag football for the first time.  He has been so excited to do this for literally years!  And wouldn't ya know we ended up on the Green Bay Packers team!  We were so excited for that....it was the icing on the cake!

He played really well for it being his first year.  You could see a huge improvement from the first game to the last.  They had a great team and only lost a time or two.  He had some awesome "tackles" for loss of yardage.  He also had some great runs.

Finally in the very last game of the season he scored a rushing touchdown!!!!!  I was so excited for him and he was too.  He had so much fun and got to be a part of a great team!  The scoreboard pic is the last game and of course we were home and won!!!

Coming along.....

Last week we went up to look at the house and they were putting up the forms to pour the walls of the basement!  We were so excited.  On our way to St. George on Friday we could see cement trucks up by our house.

 

On Sunday when we got home from St. George we drove to the house and this is what we found!  Beautiful walls!!!  Its getting more real and very exciting!!

Connor's Field Trip

A week ago I was able to go and help out at the 2nd grade field trip.  It was a lot of fun to be able to go with Connor and help out his teacher.  It was a fun day!

About a week ago the footings were poured for our house.  But because of all this rain not much else has happened this week except for the forms being taken off.
