Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father sent his son to be born for us. He gave us all such a wonderful gift. Christmas is such a wonderful and special holiday. We certainly enjoyed it at our house. Macie got a lot of fun things. The one thing she really wanted was a baby alive. She was so excited when she opened that present. She also got a leapfrog leapster and a disney princess bike. She was a very happy girl. Connor is so easy to please. But a few months ago in a catalog he saw a truck he kept trying to get out of the book. He would bring the catalog over and say "big cock!" Well when we gave him the truck on Christmas morning he yells "big cock" and runs right over to it! Needless to say he has lived in that truck every since yesterday morning. He absolutely loves it. Its so fun to see the kids so happy and excited.

Christmas Eve Party

On Christmas Eve we all go up to my mom and dads for a little party. We ate french bread pizza and then we exchanged gifts. We also "try" to watch It's a Wonderful Life. But with all these little kids running around it can sure be hard. Macie got a princess dress up set from grandma and grandpa. My niece Satasha was such a sweetheart to play with Macie. They dressed up and were having a ball. Then during the movie Shelby, Satasha, and Macie were posing for pictures. They turned out so adorable!

Christmas Eve

My kids were so excited for Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve day we made sugar cookies for Santa Claus. We went to the church Christmas Eve party that we go to every year. Connor and my nephew Brayson looked so cute in there matching coats. They are four months apart. Macie was in the program and sang really good. Connor rang bells at the end of the program with the rest of the nursery. Then Santa Claus came and the kids sat on his lap. Macie liked him this year, but I think I scarred Connor for life. I made him sit long enough for a picture and he was crying the whole time. Then we opened up one present which of course was pajamas!

1st Dance Recital

On December 18th Macie had her first dance recital. She has been so excited for it and practied so hard. She did the dress rehearsal and did the dance so cute. On the night of the performance she was so excited to put on her costume and put on her makeup. We got to the auditorium and she wanted me to come and take her picture while she "posed". Well the recital started and it was soon Macie's turn. My heart was pounding and I was so excited but nervous. Her class came out, the lights came on, the music started and Macie cried! She just stood there crying and rubbing her eyes. I wanted to cry. I think now she wishes she would have done it because she keeps asking me when she will have another performance like this one. So we will keep our fingers crossed! I was still very proud of my little dancer.

All Boy!!

Connor is all boy. This morning after I washed my hair I went in to check on him. There he was putting on his hat and boots with his pajamas. As you can tell by the picture he is always on the go. He loves anything to do with being a boy. He is such a sweetheart.

My little reader

Macie loves books! If I am not reading to her then she is reading to herself or Connor. She loves to play "school" and read to her class. I am so happy she loves books and she is so smart.

Sleeping angel

What is it about a sleeping child that is so precious? Connor hadn't napped all day. We came home from grandmas house and he wanted chocolate milk. I was in making dinner and went to peek at him and this is how I found him. He is such an angelic little man. So of course and ran in and grabbed the camera to get a sweet picture of my precious little boy.

Bubble Baths

My kids love a good bubble bath! They would spend hours in it if I would let them. This time they were having a fun time putting it on their faces and the top of each others head. I couldn't resist posting these precious pics.

Halloween

For halloween Macie wanted to be Ariel the little mermaid. Tyson wanted Connor to be something scary. The best costume we found was a bat. For these pictures Connor would not wear the hood that showed the eyes and teeth of the bat. But the night before he would wear it....just because I didn't try to take a picture! Anyway it was a really fun night. After we got the candy and were walking back to the car thats when Connor would say "trick or treat". Macie had a great time this year. She didn't want to stay and visit at anyones house. She just wanted to keep going to more houses. She ended up with way more candy than she needed! It was a really fun time this year.

Macie's Preschool halloween party

I was able to go to Macie's preschool halloween party. The kids had so much fun. That morning they went to a "haunted house". Then they went to the library to hear a scary story. They came back to the classroom and played pumpkin ball toss, wrap the mummy, decorated twinkies like mummy's and made spiders. I was in charge of the craft so we made the spiders. The kids had a fun time making them. It was so much fun to see Macie at school and how she interacts with her class. She was really excited for me to come and can't wait until I come to the Christmas party.

The last week of September and first week of October we finally painted our house. We painted it brown with white trim. I am so glad to finally be rid of the ugly ugly pink! I was so tired of it. Tyson and I painted it ourselves. It took a lot of work but I am so glad it is finished. It turned out really nice.

Fall Decorations

Macie's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch on a field trip. Macie came home with her own pumpkin and was very excited about it. So we went to the pumpkin patch to get some decorations for the yard. Connor loves rearranging all the pumpkins on the porch and on the straw. He says pumpkin so cute.

Happy sister and brother

I am so lucky to have a son and a daughter! They are so precious together. Macie treats Connor so well and Connor adores Macie. For the most part they get along and play together well. I am so blessed by their sweet spirits in my home and I couldn't ask for two better kids. How lucky were we to get a girl and a boy right in a row! We have such a good time together and they love to pose for pictures!

July fun

The month of July we had some fun. We had our big 4th of July celebration in Fillmore at grandma Framptons. The next day we had a really fun party at Ryan and Amandas in West Valley. Macie took two sessions of swimming lessons and is turning into a fish.

Connor

Connor is 19 months old now. He is so full of it. He loves anything to do with dirt, trucks, and being outside. He loves to take Macie to and from the bus. He says a new word everyday. He is such a fun and sweet little boy. He is sure busy and keeps us on the run!

Macie goes to school

On August 20th Macie started Preschool! She was so excited to go. I thought I was excited for her to go too until it came right down to it! But now that I have had a week to get used to the idea I am glad she is going. She rides the bus to and from school. She attends Fillmore Elementary and her teacher is Ms Guillette. Everyday she comes home and tells me that she just played all day! But throughout the day new little bits come out. She had learned some fun songs and even watched a movie! It is so fun to hear about her day. She loves it so much.
