Indian Creek

We decided to try our luck at Indian Creek.  On a Thursday we headed up in the morning.  We took my nephew Brayson with us.  Well to make a long story short Brayson caught 2 fish and we caught none.  It was a nice day at a beautiful lake and a fun picnic lunch!

Last day....Big Rock Candy Mountain

On Sunday morning we got up and packed up the truck.  After leaving Hoovers, we stopped at Big rock candy mountain.  It is such a strange looking mountain.  The kids had fun exploring and finding crystals.  We had a really great trip!!

Fishing trip Part 3

On Saturday morning we got up and headed out to Otter Creek.  We enjoyed being out by the water and fishing.  The girls quickly got tired of fishing when nothing was being caught.  They decided it would be more fun to play in the water.  Tyson and Connor kept diligently fishing.  There was a man by them that had caught 40 fish that day.  He gave them some pointers and even shared his bait.  They still didn't catch anything.  They were both so disappointed.

By late afternoon we were all tired and ready to go back to the cabin.  When we got their we started a fire so we could roast marshmallows and hot dogs.  The kids went to the pavilion by the cabin and played air hockey and pool.  

We hung out outside and just enjoyed being together.  We noticed big wooden chairs in front of Hoover restaurant and decided to go over for pictures.  The kids had fun sitting on them and getting their pictures taken.

That evening we played games in the cabin.
