Blue and White Game

This marks the first performance of Macies Sophomore year as a Selgae. She is an officer again this year and so she gets to do flag ceremony.  They looked great as always.  This year we also get to watch Braxton JV football and hopefully some varsity!

Macie turns 15!!

Macies 15th birthday started out with early morning drill team practice!  But that was only the beginning of the fun!!  We enjoyed a nice day home together.  We had a little party where she got some fabulous gifts!  It was a good day.

I seriously do not know where the time is going.  My baby is 15, it doesn't even seem possible.  I am beyond proud of this girl.  She is a good girl.  She is smart, finishing her Freshman year with a solid 4.0.  She works so hard in drill team.  I am just so proud of her and love her so much!!!

Grandpas Surprise 60th Birthday

On August 2nd my dad turned 60 years old.  I thought it would be a lot of fun to have a surprise party for him.  We planned for a couple of months what and how to do it.  Shelby made a cute "old person" supply cake.  I took pictures of all the grandkids with a letter and we spelled out "We Love Grandpa".  I also copied a whole bunch of pictures from throughout his life and made a collage and decorated the house with them.  Everyone also wrote a letter to him and we put it in a book for him to keep.

While my mom and dad were out we went to their house and decorated and waited for them to come home.  When my dad walked in we all yelled surprise!!  He was SO SURPRISED!  He had no idea!  It was so much fun and we got him good!  We sang Happy Birthday and ate yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

It was such a fun evening and I am so glad that we were able to surprise him the way we did.
