Big Bond Family Party!!

                                                  Last Saturday we have the Bond family Christmas party.  I'm talking all my dads brothers and sisters and all the cousins!  We haven't done this for a few years and it was so great to get together.  I had an inkling there might be a "special visitor" and so luckily this time I remembered my camera.  The kids were so excited when Santa showed up!  Seriously this is the first picture of Connor on Santa's lap where he is not crying!  And then my sweet Mckenna doing the classic "get me the hell off his lap"!  This is how my kids are until about Connor's age or so!  Enjoy!!

Tub Time

I took these pics 3 or 4 weeks ago and totally forgot about them.  The kids love when they get to have a bath with Mckenna.  Macie was having a great time doing Mckenna's hair!  Mckenna enjoys her baths but HATES getting out and lotioned and dressed.  Its torture!!

Well Baby Checkup...

Mckenna had her 1 year well baby checkup today.  She weighs 19lbs 14oz and is 29.75" tall.  Everything looked really great for her and she is doing well.  She then had to have 7 shots!  1 shot was her flu shot booster but the rest were regular shots.  It was brutal!  Its horrible having to hold down your baby while they poke her to death.  It was very sad.  But good news is she is happy and healthy!!!

A Year in a Red Chair

I thought it would be fun to look back at Mckenna's growth in the red chair.  I wish that I would have taken a picture of her in it when we brought her home from  the hospital.  Luckily when she was 1 month old I took a pic of her in it.  Its so fun to look at and I can't believe how she has grown in the last year!

~Mckenna is One!!~

On Saturday Mckenna turned one years old!  Seriously...where did the time go?  It seems like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital.  She is just a joy in our home.  Her little personality is developing so cute.  She has such a sweet little temperament and is for the most part quiet....(although she has started this new little squeal and its sooo LOUD!).  She has truly been a blessing to us and I am so happy she is my daughter.  Here are some new accomplishments for the month:
*Loves to eat and pretty much everything I give her!
*Waves goodbye
*Is for the most part walking.  She started about a week ago and is getting all over the place!
*Loves baby dolls/stuffed animals and will hug them and pat there back
By the way this red chair thing is getting ridiculous!  I cannot keep her in the chair and if she stays she is pulling down my sign.....

 Here we are singing happy birthday to her.  She loved the big cake.  She actually got her hands on it a couple of times.  If we didn't need to feed it to everyone she would have completely destroyed it!

 She loved her smash cake!  She dug her fingers in and even picked up the plate.  When the cake fell off onto her face it didn't even phase her.  She just grabbed a chunk and started eating it!

 Ty and I made the cake.  I think it turned out pretty dang cute!
