Christmas 2014

We had a sick holiday season this year.  Two weeks before Christmas Connor had ear infections.  He was put on antibiotics and got feeling better.  The week of Christmas he started to not feel well again and had a fever.  On Christmas Eve Macie got a fever.  So she stayed at grandma and grandpas while we went to the Christmas Eve program.  Connor came with us, but didn't go onstage because he was still getting over whatever he had.
Mckenna was in the angel choir for the program.  She sang her little heart out!  It was adorable and I was super proud of her.  When the program was over the kids were able to go up and see Santa and give him last minute requests.  The kids all did so well this year and no tears were shed!  I feel bad that  Macie isn't in our Santa picture this year.
After the program we went up to grandma and grandpa Bonds.  The kids opened up there new Christmas pajamas.  They all looked very cute.  Then we ate dinner and grandma and grandpa gave the kids gifts.  Then we played a fun present exchange game.  We then came home and got Santas cookies and milk out and settled into bed.

Christmas morning was horrible!  Macie was still fevering and not feeling well.  Ty and I both woke up sick.  The little girls I think were starting to come down with it, but for the most part they were still okay.  The kids were excited to see what Santa brought them.  All 3 of the older kids got new bikes.  Callie got a princess car.  They got a few more fun things.  Then we all pretty much just laid around not feeling good.  It was so sad.  We had to miss Christmas dinner at my mom and dads and I felt so sad.

It was a good Christmas despite everyone feeling horrible.  By the time New Years rolled around we were all finally starting to feel better, but it went through every single one of us.  A horrible horrible cold, fever, cough....Yuck!

I really hope we are all not sick for Christmas ever again.  We spent most of Christmas break laying around watching movies.  It was not a fun way to spend the holiday.

December happenings.....

December was a crazy fun time.  This post doesn't even include Christmas!  Warning....lots and lots of pics!

We have had so much fun getting to know baby Hudson. We love cuddling him.  He is such a sweet baby!

Callie and Hank get along pretty well for the most part.  Hank loves to do anything that Connor does.  He was having so much fun "playing" the Xbox!

Connor had crazy sweater day at school!  I love how his sweater turned out.

We had fun going to the Dewolf family Christmas party.  We loved getting to see sweet baby Hadley!

Having fun posing!

The girlies in their new Elsa dresses!

Alot of things have been going on with the house.  In December they finally finished the shingles on the roof.  They also got the wiring done on the inside and got exterior doors put on.  The most exciting thing is that they started bricking.  It looks so good!  I am so excited to see how its going to look all finished!
Ty and my dad dug a huge trench to run the water line.  They also did the septic system this month.  They have been busy with lots of pipe and dirt!  Its been an exciting and busy month!

Dance recital

Macie decided to do dance this year.  She had a dance recital in mid-December.  It was so much fun to watch.  She did great!  I was so proud of her.  She really is a great dancer.  I am so happy she decided to do dance.  Fun night!

Jr. Jazz

I am far behind in blogging.  Connor's jr. Jazz season ended mid-December.  It is always to fun to watch and see how much he has improved.  This year it was the real deal and so there was more focus on dribbling and not double dribbling.  It was a fun quick season!
