Catching up!

I am lucky to update my blog once a month!  We have been so busy!

After living for 3ish weeks without a couch we finally got one!

My little girls like to wear my high heels and clomp around the house.  This day they were doing that plus pushing around shopping carts and strollers.  They were having a grand time.

We got the corner between the porch and sidewalk partially landscaped.  We filled the middle with rocks and planted flowers along the border.  We are going to get something like a big rock to put in the middle of the  small rocks.

Ty got me a piano!  I have wanted a piano forever!  This makes me happy!!!

Baseball season is upon us!  This year Mckenna is playing t-ball.  Her team is the Red Sox.  She has only had one game so far but played pretty darn well.  She seems to be enjoying it.

Connors team is the Royals.  He has had two games.  He pitches and does a really great job.  He had 2 great hits that I sadly missed, but his dad said they were awesome!

The first weekend of May, Macie had National Dance Competition at Lagoon.  So Tyson, Macie, Connor, and I came up late on Friday and stayed at the Hyatt downtown.  Early Saturday morning we went to Lagoon.  She had two dances to do and they did awesome.  They got a 1st and a 2nd!  The kids had never been to Lagoon before so we went on some rides while we were there.  It was alot of fun to spend the weekend with just the big kids.  It was a busy weekend but a fun one!

A couple weeks ago Connors class had a little program at the school.  They wrote a report on one of their ancestors.  At this program they read there reports and sang a couple songs.  It was a lot of fun.  Connor did his report on Pocahontas.  He did a great job.  He has been blessed with an awesome teacher this year.

Busy, busy, busy.....

It has been a busy 4 weeks!  I will try and cover everything that's been going on.

Connor had a birthday party to go to at the pool and so I took Mckenna and Macie to go swimming too.  Mckenna is a little fish and loves it!

Macie had her first dance competition of the year the 2nd weekend of March.  It was in Richfield.  She did awesome!  They took a 1st and a 2nd.

Amidst everything that was happening Anna ran away or got lost or something.  The last time I saw her she was wandering around the yard, and then we couldn't find her.  I am just heartbroken about the way it all ended.  She was very old, actually turned 15 on the 20th of March.  She was really starting to struggle.  I really needed to be able to have closure and bury her but I didn't get that.  I miss her so much.  She was my sweet baby for  longer than my kids have been.  Love you Anna....

The weekend of the 21st Macie had another dance competition in St. George.  They took 2 1st places.  She and I went alone and had  a really fun weekend together.  Only one more competition this year and its in May at Lagoon.

We finally closed on our house on my birthday the 30th!  We spent our first night on April 1st!!  Its so surreal to really be here and have it be our home.  We are so happy!  I will post more of the inside once we get things put together a little better.

Clean up clean up!  We've been doing a lot of that lately!

Amid all the moving and cleaning I was able to go on a field trip with Connors school class.  We went to the Living Planet Aquarium.  It was a lot of fun.
