Fish Lake

The first weekend of June we rented a cabin up at Fish Lake.  This was the first time that I had ever been there.  The cabin was called a camping cabin.  It had no running water, but did have a fridge, propane cook top, propane heater, and beds.  It was a tiny two room cabin.  I did not pay a lot for this cabin so we did not get a lot!  When we first got there we unpacked the truck.  Then we went over to the lake and fished for a little while.  It started to rain and so we got into the truck and went exploring.  We saw some cranes and not sure if they were geese or swans....lol.  After dinner we went on a walk by the lake. We came around the one side and there were 2 Army helicopters sitting in a clearing.  We were able to go and explore them.  I am going to make another post all about that!

The next morning we got up and ate breakfast and then went fishing.  We fished from several different spots, but we did not have any luck!  It was kind of a bummer, but the kids were having fun.  Later we went to a spot by the marina and Ty caught 1 fish!  None of the kids would touch it. It flopped out of Tys hand and Macie screamed!  Hahahaha it was funny.

We had a lot of fun fishing and hiking around.  At night we made Jiffy pop popcorn and played Apples to Apples. It was a really fun trip.  We came home Sunday morning.  It was fun to just be together with my cute little family!

Smartie Pants

Just a little bragging on my kiddos.  They had the best year of school.  They both had amazing teachers.  Look at these grades!!  I am so proud of them and there hard work and awesome grades.  I cannot believe I am going to have a 3rd and 6th grader next year!

Elementary School Program

Connor did a great job in his end of year elementary school program.  It was odd only having one child in it this year!  He sang great and danced so wonderful.  He was on the front row and I was so proud!  Way to go Connor!!!

Payson Temple Open House

In May we took the kids up to the Payson open house.  It was beautiful!  The kids really enjoyed it.  Callie had been excited about it for weeks.  When we asked her where we were going she would say "the holy temple".  It was a great experience and I am so glad our family was able to go.

Dance '14-'15

At the end of 4th grade Macie was ready to do dance again.  So last summer she took a technique class.  She was so excited for dance to start in the fall.  By the end of the season I couldn't believe the improvement I saw in her.  She is an awesome little dancer!  They had 2 competitions at the end of the season and ended up with 3 First places and 1 second place.  This qualified them to dance at Lagoon at the National championships.  They took a first and a second at Lagoon!  I was so proud of them.  I love watching her dance.  She does great!  Dumb blogger won't let me load any videos :(

Catching up!

I am lucky to update my blog once a month!  We have been so busy!

After living for 3ish weeks without a couch we finally got one!

My little girlies snuggling!

Tyson built me some awesome shelves down in the cold storage room!

My kiddos doing what they love!

My little girls like to wear my high heels and clomp around the house.  This day they were doing that plus pushing around shopping carts and strollers.  They were having a grand time.

We got the corner between the porch and sidewalk partially landscaped.  We filled the middle with rocks and planted flowers along the border.  We are going to get something like a big rock to put in the middle of the  small rocks.

Ty got me a piano!  I have wanted a piano forever!  This makes me happy!!!

Little girlies playing in the tub!

Baseball season is upon us!  This year Mckenna is playing t-ball.  Her team is the Red Sox.  She has only had one game so far but played pretty darn well.  She seems to be enjoying it.
Connors team is the Royals.  He has had two games.  He pitches and does a really great job.  He had 2 great hits that I sadly missed, but his dad said they were awesome!

The first weekend of May, Macie had National Dance Competition at Lagoon.  So Tyson, Macie, Connor, and I came up late on Friday and stayed at the Hyatt downtown.  Early Saturday morning we went to Lagoon.  She had two dances to do and they did awesome.  They got a 1st and a 2nd!  The kids had never been to Lagoon before so we went on some rides while we were there.  It was alot of fun to spend the weekend with just the big kids.  It was a busy weekend but a fun one!

A couple weeks ago Connors class had a little program at the school.  They wrote a report on one of their ancestors.  At this program they read there reports and sang a couple songs.  It was a lot of fun.  Connor did his report on Pocahontas.  He did a great job.  He has been blessed with an awesome teacher this year.
