My baby is 1!!!

On Wednesday Callie turned 1!  This year has seriously flown by.  It doesn't seem possible for her to be a year old, but here we are!  She is such a sweet baby.  Mckenna loves her to death (sometimes a little too much).  She is so much fun.  She is growing and changing everyday.  Its so fun to watch her learn new things almost daily it seems like lately.  She has truly been a blessing to us and I am so grateful that she joined our family.  Here are her accomplishments in the last month:

*Beginning to stand up on her own without holding on to anything

*Saying Dada

*Got her ears pierced

*She has this cute little fake laugh

*Starting to walk holding onto our hands but she walks on her tippy toes

*Speaks her own language when she wants something.  And keeps it up until she gets what she wants!

Her party was on Saturday.  Not many people were able to come but we had a good time and I think she did too.  She had the most adorable owl cake.  Jenny did a great job.  It was so cute I hated to cut into it.  Her smash cake was cute to.  The biggest smash cake I've ever seen...lol

She got a baby doll and a bike from us.  If she can get it away from Mckenna long enough she loves to play with it!

*Pierced Ears*

On the 9th we took a quick trip to Provo to get some stuff at Walmart.  We decided to get Mckenna and Callie's ears pierced while we were up there.  Mckenna didn't make a peep.  She pierced the first one and her eyes got kind of big and watery and then the 2nd one got pierced and she was fine!  She was so happy and excited.  Callie cried but not for long.  And so far they have done really well and they don't seem to bother them.

Spaghetti and Oreos

Last night we had spaghetti for dinner and we just let Callie go for it!  She loved it and turned a lovely shade of orange.  To top it off her dad gave her an oreo and so she added some chocolate and white frosting to the mix!  I love this girl!!

*11 Months Old*

Callie turned 11 months old on Monday.  Holy cow!  I can't believe I will soon have a one year old.  The time has seriously flown by.  She is still so little and petite that it doesn't even seem possible for her to be 11 months!   A few weeks ago she weighed 16lbs.  She is still wearing size 2 diapers and 6-9 month clothes.  There are a few 12 month things that fit her but most are too big around the waist.  She has had several accomplishments in the past month!

*Loves to stand up to everything

*Blows kisses

*Gives kisses

*Crawls like a champ

*First ear infection (not fun)

*Shakes head yes and no

She is such a joy and has become such a happy baby.  She will stand up to something and then look at me and laugh.  She interacts with the kids (especially Mckenna) so well.  This morning when her dad walked into the room she went crazy smiling and laughing to get his attention.  I just love her so much and I am so happy that she is in our family!

A visit from the Tooth Fairy

Last Thursday Connor lost his first tooth!  It was so super wiggly and he was having a hard time eating.  Tyson offered to pull it out but he said no!  Ty said just let me feel it.  He pushed on his gums and it popped right out onto his tongue!  He was so excited!!!  The tooth fairy brought him a silver dollar and he thought that was pretty neat.

All is Well.....

So last Thursday we took Callie to Primary Children's to an Orthopedic specialist.  We had a long wait but finally got in to see her.  Turns out everything is fine.  There is no problems at all with her hip.  The Dr apologized but told us we have a healthy babe!  So basically it was a useless trip!  But we had a fun date day and super fun day with our sweet baby girl.  We also met up with Ty's sis and family for dinner and that was alot of fun.  We count our blessing every day for our healthy kiddos!

TV Stars!!

This is the commercial for the hospital in Fillmore and Delta.  Macie and Callie are both in it!  Macie is at the beginning and Callie is at the end.  Its so fun to see my girls in a commercial!!
