Part 1 of our 1st Family Fun Day!!!

Our 1st Family Fun day of the Summer started one day early!  When Tyson got off work on Wednesday we headed up north.  Our first stop when we got into the valley was to go visit grandma Frampton at the rehab where she is staying.  She was so surprised to see us!  She looked so great!!!  We had a nice little visit with her.  It was good to see her.

Next we checked into our hotel and then headed over to Scheels.  We had fun wandering around the store and checking stuff out.  They have a lot of fun things to look at.  There were a lot of fun mounts to look at and their was this fun shooting range that all the kids took a turn playing.  In the middle of Scheels there is a huge Ferris wheel.  From the get go Macie wanted to go on it.  Ty has a phobia of Ferris wheels and so I was the lucky one that got to take her.  Mckenna decided she wanted to go to.  I was afraid that she would freak out once we got going.  They both did awesome!  They loved it and had a great time!

Next we went over to the Pizza Pie Cafe to have dinner with Ty's siblings families and his mom.  We had such a nice time.  We ate lots of yummy pizza and we got to visit with everyone.  It was fun to see the cousins get reacquainted with each other.  And of course we got to see baby Hadley!  She is so small and sweet.  Beautiful baby!  We had a great start to our family fun day!!!!

Knocking one off the bucket list!!!

On June 10th I surprised my mom with the concert of a lifetime.....Lionel Richie!!!  She has loved him since the 70's and I remember growing up listening to him, which in turn has made me a huge fan as well.  We were both so excited.  The concert was at Usana.  His opening act (which I found very odd) was Ceelo Green.  He was okay but not my favorite.

Finally the star of the night came on stage!  He was fabulous!  He sounded great and was just an all around fantastic entertainer.  He sang so many of his great hits.  He played for around 2 hours.  It went by so fast.  We had such a great night and if the chance arises again we will definitely go back and see him!

Playing for the Chicken Hawks!!

This year Connor finally got to play real baseball!  No more T-ball!  He did pretty well.  He played most positions, but mostly 1st and 2nd base.  The last few games they started letting the kids pitch and he was able to do some pitching.  He did really well.  It's been a lot of fun watching him play this year.
