Connor is 9!

Connor celebrated his 9th Birthday on the 18th of January.  He wanted an Eddie Lacey jersey and a Utes hoodie.  So he was one happy boy.  He also wanted grandma Dixies lemon bundt cake for his birthday cake.  He had a great day and got awesome gifts!
I love this boy so much.  He is a good kid and is fun to have in our house.  I love you buddy and can't believe you are 9!!!

Random

A few weeks ago after we put Mckenna and Callie to bed we could hear commotion.  We finally went to investigate and this is what we found.  They were having a snowball fight!  There was kleenex everywhere!!  At the time I wasn't very happy, but now I can laugh about it!

For Primary I made these wiggle worm sticks and quiet cootie sticks.  The Cootie's have reverent songs on them and the worms have wiggle songs on them.

My dad got a new border collie named Sage.

The kids had a Valentines photo shoot on Saturday.  This is the sneak peak!  Can't wait to see the rest!

The last two pics I took when Mckenna got home from school.  She is wearing the cute valentines hat that she made.

Pyper update

Well this is Miss Pyper from January until today.  The pics of her in the window are actually this morning.  She is sure growing!  She is 12 weeks old and weighs a whopping 28.5 pounds!!  She is getting so big.  She can jump up and see what we are doing at the table or counter.  She loves to chew and chew and chew!  My poor body is bruised and scabbed.  But when she is cuddly and wants to sit on my lap it almost makes up for all the biting!

Christmas

I am super slow posting about Christmas.  And just beware because this post contains a lot of pictures!!

The weekend before Christmas we went up north to have Christmas with Tysons family.  Its always a fun trip to see everyone.  We wish we could see them longer.  The day is also so full and busy.  First we went to the Dewolf family party.  It was fun to see everyone and visit for a little bit.  We got cookies, dutch yummies, and the kids got a gift from there grandma and grandpa.

Next we went and picked up Ty's mom and went and ate lunch at the pizza pie cafe.  It was delish and fun.  Then we went back over to her house.  We visited and gave each other gifts.  The kids were super excited to see her and spend some time with her.

This year Ty really wanted to take the kids to temple square.  Luckily the night we went it wasn't extremely cold.  It was fun to walk around and see the beauty of the temple.
On Christmas eve we went down to the church for the annual Christmas eve program.  Connor was Samuel the Lamanite, Mckenna was an angel, and Macie sang with the activity day girls.  It was a nice program.  Then the kids got to sit on Santas lap!  After the program we went home and opened up new pjs.  Then we went down to my mom and dads and ate dinner.  We exchanged gifts and just had a fun night.  Then we came home and got ready for Santa!

I was so proud of the kids.  I told them not to wake us up until 7:00.  At 6:55ish they came in to our room and said they were ready!  This was one of our best Christmas's ever!  Maybe it was being our first Christmas in the new house!  The kids were so excited and so happy with everything they got.  Miss Callie opened up a gift and said this isn't what I wanted!  She said that several times, but ended up happy in the end lol.  It was a really great day.
