My Spooks

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  The kids had so much fun and got tons and tons of candy.  Mckenna was way into trick or treating this year.  For week she kept asking me when it was time to go trick or treating.

This year we went to Spooky Story Hour at the library.  Then we went trick or treating down main street.  Then we went to Meadow and topped off their bags!

Connor was an army man, Macie was a punk skeleton, Mckenna was Minnie Mouse, and Callie was my sweet little monkey!!

Change.....

Big changes.... We moved!  Last Wednesday was our last night at our house.  Thursday was super busy moving out everything that was left.  It was a huge job and exhausting, physically and mentally.  For now we live in Fillmore at my grandmas house until a rental becomes available (hopefully soon!!). And the next thing will be starting to build our house. So super excited!!

 The kids have done well.  Macie was the saddest and cried several times.  They have all acted out a bit more too.  I really questioned my decisions and really hoped I wasn't scarring my kids for life by taking them and away from the only home they knew.  But I keep thinking of how great its going to be in about a year.

Things are good, cluttered but good.  So hopefully we will break ground sooner rather than later.

I will miss the west side but am excited to "move on up" to the east side!!

A Year in a Red Chair Part 2

Here is Callie's 1st year in pics in the red chair.  I love seeing how much she changed each month.  It also makes me a little sad to see how fast she has grown.  She has been so fun!!!

My baby is 1!!!

On Wednesday Callie turned 1!  This year has seriously flown by.  It doesn't seem possible for her to be a year old, but here we are!  She is such a sweet baby.  Mckenna loves her to death (sometimes a little too much).  She is so much fun.  She is growing and changing everyday.  Its so fun to watch her learn new things almost daily it seems like lately.  She has truly been a blessing to us and I am so grateful that she joined our family.  Here are her accomplishments in the last month:

*Beginning to stand up on her own without holding on to anything

*Saying Dada

*Got her ears pierced

*She has this cute little fake laugh

*Starting to walk holding onto our hands but she walks on her tippy toes

*Speaks her own language when she wants something.  And keeps it up until she gets what she wants!

Her party was on Saturday.  Not many people were able to come but we had a good time and I think she did too.  She had the most adorable owl cake.  Jenny did a great job.  It was so cute I hated to cut into it.  Her smash cake was cute to.  The biggest smash cake I've ever seen...lol

She got a baby doll and a bike from us.  If she can get it away from Mckenna long enough she loves to play with it!

*Pierced Ears*

On the 9th we took a quick trip to Provo to get some stuff at Walmart.  We decided to get Mckenna and Callie's ears pierced while we were up there.  Mckenna didn't make a peep.  She pierced the first one and her eyes got kind of big and watery and then the 2nd one got pierced and she was fine!  She was so happy and excited.  Callie cried but not for long.  And so far they have done really well and they don't seem to bother them.

Spaghetti and Oreos

Last night we had spaghetti for dinner and we just let Callie go for it!  She loved it and turned a lovely shade of orange.  To top it off her dad gave her an oreo and so she added some chocolate and white frosting to the mix!  I love this girl!!
