Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Sams

On Saturday September 5th my baby sister Shelby got married to Taylor Sams. The day went just wonderful. We had a family luncheon with all of Taylor's family. At 4o'clock was the wedding. Satasha and Macie were flower girls. Morgan was Shelby's maid of honor and Taylor's friend Tyler was the best man. My dad walked Shelby down the aisle and she looked beautiful. The ceremony was beautiful. They seemed so happy and in love all day! We took tons of pictures and then they cut the beautiful cake that Lisa Teeples made. The day went just perfect. I want to congratulate Shelby and Taylor and wish them all the happiness in the world! We love you guys!!!

1st day of Kindergarten

Today was Macie's 1st day of kindergarten! It just doesn't even seem possible! She has been so excited to go. Last night she kept asking if it was time to go to bed! I took her to school and walked into her class with her. I probably didn't even need too. She acted like she didn't even care if I was there or not, which I guess is a good thing. After I left to walk out to my car I got a little choked up. When I picked her up she was all smiles and had a great day!

**BuG iNsPeCtOr**

On Sunday night Connor came racing out of his room with this giant magnifying glass. He said he was looking for big bugs! He was holding the glass right in front of his face. Then he would bend over and hold it next to the floor looking for big bugs. He yells hey bugs stay away from my mom! He makes such a cute little bug inspector!

Donuts

Today I went up north with my sister. Ty stayed home with the kids. In the afternoon Macie called and said guess what mom.... don't tell that I told you but we made donuts!! When I got home there were donuts galore! They were very tasty. They had Bavarian cream, jelly filled, and donut holes! I was very impressed. Macie was so proud to show me what her and her dad created!

**Macie is 5**

Yesterday Macie turned 5! I cannot believe how fast time goes. She was so excited for like 2 weeks before. The morning of her birthday she came in and said "Happy Birthday to me!" We had a little family party for her. She got some walkie talkies, books, and school clothes. She wasn't excited about that but I sure was! She had a beautiful Barbie cake which I wish I could take credit for, but her dad made it. It turned out so cute and she really liked it. I think that she had a really fun day. I am so blessed to have Macie as a daughter. She is such a good girl and is so smart. I am so glad that she belongs to me! Happy Birthday Macie! We love you!!

Overnight Campout with the Kids...

On Tuesday when Ty got home from work we decided to take the kids camping overnight. We went up Fillmore canyon to Shingle Mill. We got there and set up our tent and started a fire. We roasted hot dogs. The kids couldn't wait to go to the creek and throw rocks. That is the most fun thing to do camping! After we threw rocks we came back and sat around the fire. We roasted marshmallows. Connor fell asleep on my lap. Macie kept asking to go to bed because she was tired. She has never asked to go to bed ever before! So we all got in our sleeping bags in the tiniest tent in existence!! We squished in there like sardines in a can! I have to say that none of us slept very well but it was a good time. We got up and made breakfast. Then we cleaned up and packed up the truck. We fished a little bit but Connor wanted to go home! He loves his home and went he gets the idea to go home there is no changing his mind.
The picture of Macie on the bridge is the fishing pole that she made. And all that she wanted to do was pose for pictures by trees and on rocks! She also found a plethora of snail shells that she needed for her collection! Connor just loved being outdoors and hauled his shotgun everywhere we went! The picture of Ty and I on the rock was one that Macie took for us. She did a really great job. It was a fun little trip just with our little family
