Sending balloons to heaven...

Our Angel baby's angelversary landed on Thanksgiving this year.  I can't believe its been 3 years....but on the other hand I feel like I have been without his forever.  The kids were super excited to write him a letter and send it to him.  So we sent the balloons off in the morning.  We tried something new this year and lit lanterns and sent them off at night.  It was fun.

I am so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel and to know families are forever.  I can't wait to be reunited with him once again.  I think of you everyday little man!  I love and miss you so very much!!!

Newborn Photo Shoot

My super awesome sister in law Amanda (aka Amandakaymemories.com) came to our house when Callie was 5 days old!  She did a super job and got some great shots.  I would have loaded more but blogger was being a jerk!  The crochet football and pumpkin hat were made by my mom.  She made the football for a boy but I didn't want it to go to waste so we put Callie in it!  Anyhow enjoy my delicious daughter!!! 

One Month Old!!!

Wow!  Seriously where did the time go??  Callie was one month old yesterday!  So we kept the Mckenna tradition and took the red chair picture!  Look how tiny she is....I had a hard time keeping her upright to take the pic.  She is growing but is still so teeny.  She is still wearing newborn clothes and diapers.  I just started putting her in a few 0-3 month clothes.  Its fine with me....I love love love this teeny tiny stage!  When I stood on the scale with her a few days ago she weighed 9 lbs.

Callie has brought so much love and joy into our home.  All the kids adore her....especially Mckenna.  If she grew by kisses she would be huge by now!  I swear Mckenna kisses her at least 100 times a day and that is no exaggeration!  I couldn't ask for a better relationship between these two little girls.

In the past few weeks Callie has started to smile when spoken  to.  Yesterday I was talking to her and she smiled and cooed at me!  So super sweet!!

I am so thankful that she is here and apart of our family!!!!

My Little Spooks

The kids LOVED Halloween this year!  They got so much candy its ridiculous!  Mckenna had a ball.  She thought it was great that people were just giving her candy.  She was just as big as the other kids and had to walk up to the door all by herself.  This of course slowed them down so she came home a little earlier with Callie and I.  But they had a blast and got way to much candy!!

2 week Doctors visit

On Halloween we took Callie in for her two week checkup.  She now weighs 7lbs 13oz and is 20 1/2 inches tall.  Everything with her looks great.  Her belly button is looking really good and we are just waiting for the scab to fall off.  Its already half coming off so I don't think it will be long.  Dr. Brown was very happy with her and said she looks super! 

So here I am at 39 weeks and then me holding Callie on the outside!  Kinda fun right?!

Volleyball

Macie decided not to do dance this year.  I wanted/needed her to do something to stay active and keep busy.  We saw a sign up for Volleyball and Macie was super interested.  So we signed her up and she played volleyball for about 6 weeks.  She learned alot of the basics and improved alot.  It was fun to go and watch her play.  Way to go Macie!!

Like Mother, Like Daughter ?!?

Could it be that one of my children might actually look like me....even a little bit!  I pulled out some pics of me as a baby and the more I looked at them I could see Callie!  So I just might have some offspring that resembles me!....Haha!!  So I will post a few pics of me as a babe and then you can enjoy the real beauty....Callie!

So most of these pics I am just a few weeks old.  This last one I am about 2 1/2 - 3 months old.  I can see a resemblence but I think that my hair was longer on top then hers.

OOh I love this little girl so so much!  She has brought such a love into our home.  We couldn't be happier!!!
