Random things....

Macie had her Christmas dance recital on the 11th.  She danced so great.  She is fun to watch.

Just snapped a couple cute pics of a sleeping Callie.

On the 17th Macie had her Middle School Christmas program.  We were sitting so far in the back there was no way I could get a picture of her.  The gym was packed.  She looked cute and sang some really cute songs.
After the program her teacher let all the girls from her class have a sleepover at the school.  The teacher stayed with them and I was asked to be a chaperon with one other mom.  There were 12 girls total.  She ordered in pizza and then pretty much let the girls just go wild.  They tried so hard to break into the boys bathroom but were unsuccessful.  So they decorated the outside of it instead.  They ran around the school and wheeled each other around.  They danced and sang.  She finally made them lay down to sleep at 2am.  Needless to say, I was beat when I went home at 7:30 the next morning.  It was sure fun and something Macie will remember forever!

Lastly, the high school asked us to be apart of the Christmas home tour.  I snapped a few pics of the house decorated for Christmas.

Mckenna is 5!!

Mckenna was super excited for her birthday this year.  She was able to take treats to her preschool class.  She came home with a crown, balloon, and a book from her teacher!
Then we went to lunch at Cluffs so she could have chicken strips.  We had a little family party.  She was super spoiled.  She got a whole bunch of frozen stuff, Barbie coloring stuff, light up pillow, an Elsa doll, slippers, and a frozen tent and sleeping bag.  She loved everything.
She wanted a Sheriff Callie birthday cake which her dad and Macie made for her.

Mckenna is such a sweet little girl.  She is my "wild" child and is always full of surpirses.  She has come leaps and bounds since beginning preschool and I am incredibly proud of her.  She brings excitement and joy into my life.  I love you so much my sweet Mckenna.  Happy Birthday!!!

This and That!!

This is just a menagerie of things that occurred in November.

Macie made this adorable owl at activity days.

Mckenna was on a bed making spree.  She made my bed for me.

Macie made this adorable "hamburger" cupcake!

Connor trying on Ty's new beanie.

Mckenna came home wearing this adorable hat the last day before Thanksgiving break.  She comes home with the cutest things that she has made!

We had Thanksgiving at my moms.  These are pictures of all my parents grandkids.  They have 14 and the 15th is a girl due in March!

On the 15th of November I was released from the primary presidency after 4 years of service!  And boy was I surprised when I was called to be the chorister in primary!  I have never done this job before.  This Sing or Dare poster was a fun activity was did my 2nd week as chorister.

And when it started to snow I made my grandpa Frampton inspired soup.  Yum tasted just like his!

Collins 6 years in Heaven

Collins angelversary landed on a Sunday this year.  It was good in a way because I was busy and couldn't sit and just think about missing him.  We went to church and then came home and had lunch.  Then we went down to my mom and dads and watched the football game.  By the time we got home to write out notes and let off our balloons it was dark.  I love how excited the kids get to write him letters and send them to heaven on balloons.

This year Connor was super bummed and very sad missing his baby brother.  Surprisingly this was an easier year for me.  I honestly think it was because I spent the whole day with family and couldn't just sit and think about him.

I still love and miss that baby boy so badly.  I can't believe it has been 6 years.  I feel very blessed for the time I had with him.  I also know that I need to start working harder if I am going to be able to see and live with him again someday.

I love you sweet Collin.  I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.....

Sick Callie

The first part of November was a sick one for my kiddos.  Mckenna started first and had a fever on and off for 5 days.  She wasn't super sick, but had moments of definately not feeling well.  Connor and Macie both had fevers for a few days.

Callie fevered for about 5 days as well.  It didn't get super bad until day 4 and 5.  The 4th night she was moaning and crying out in her bed, so I brought her into sleep with me and Ty.  She was miserable and frying all night long.  The next day she was supposed to have a well-child checkup with Dr. B and it turned into a sick appointment.  When we got to the clinic she was weighed and only came in at 22 lbs.  Her temperature was 103.  Dr. B found an ear infection in one of her ears.  He was worried about her hydration and so he sent us over to the hospital for some fluids.

When they put in her IV she was so brave.  She whimpered a little bit, but never really cried.  I was so proud of her.  We were there for about 5 hours and she got 3 bags of fluid.  He finally let her leave when she drank some pedialyte out of a sippy.  The kids were so happy to have her home.  She was still pretty out of it and so she slept with Ty and I again that night.

By the next day I could tell she was feeling better, although not 100%.  It took her a couple of days to finally be totally fine.  It got really scary there for a minute and I am so grateful for a good Dr. who knew just what to do.

I just got my bill for this whole fiasco yesterday.  The total was a little over $1100.  My insurance paid a whopping $112.  So I now have an almost $1000 hospital  bill to pay :(  Thank goodness for insurance!  HAHAHAHAHA
